Melissa's research focuses on monitoring restoration efficacy in salt marsh ecosystems through the lens of marsh hydrology. She is also working on a project to update statewide maps of coastal wetlands using GIS and remote sensing. Melissa hopes to support land managers and practitioners with decision-making related to enhancing coastal resilience.
