Isaac Larsen
Faculty/Staff
Isaac's research focuses on quantifying the rates and dates of Earth surface processes. His current research focuses on: 1) the Channeled Scabland and the Missoula floods, 2) agricultural soil erosion and soil carbon dynamics in the Midwestern U.S., and 3) the transformation of bedrock to soil and the implications for biogeochemical cycles.
Areas of Expertise: Geomorphology, soil erosion, outburst floods, chemical weathering, cosmogenic nuclide geochemistry
