Diana Fernández Romero is Associate Professor of Communications and Media Studies at Rey Juan Carlos University (Madrid, Spain). Her research interests include Discourse Analysis, Communication and Gender, Gender-based Violence, Feminist Pedagogies, and Feminist Media Activism. In recent years, she has held visiting researcher positions at the University of California Santa Barbara; University of California Riverside; Birkbeck, University of London; Humboldt Universität zu Berlin; and Università di Bologna.
