Carla Subirana is a scriptwriter and a film director. She has a degree in Audiovisual Communication from Pompeu Fabra University. She was inspired to work in the field of documentaries by the director Jean-Louis Commolli. She has always combined film and television work thoughout her career. In addition to filmmaking Carla teaches film at the Ramón Llull University on its its Filmmaking and Production Masters Course. She recently directed an episode "Madalena" from the feature film "Kanimambo" (2011) which was produced by Hispanocine and Eddie Saeta.
