Kevin Taylor Anderson is a visual anthropologist and award-winning ethnographic filmmaker with experience shooting films in Nigeria, Ethiopia, Japan, Italy, India, Mexico, Alaska, and Ireland.  He has published scholarly articles on Reality Television, Ethnographic Film, Documentary Film, and Medical Anthropology.  Kevin has taught film studies and anthropology courses at Tufts University, Clark University, Seattle University, and currently is Senior Lecturer in Media, Culture, and Visual Methods in the Department of Communication at the University of Massachusetts-Amherst.  His heroes are Jean Rouch, Chris Marker, and Matsuo Basho.
