Lusophone Film Festival

Join us for the 2nd iteration of the Lusophone Film Festival! The selected films will afford students an opportunity to engage with film theory and criticism, and to examine a variety of topics such as the formation of national identity, gender and family dynamics, social inequalities, rural vs. urban societies, migration, civic agency, race relations, and major political and historical events that have impacted the contemporary societies of the Portuguese-speaking world (Angola, Brazil, Cape Verde, Guinea-Bissau, Mozambique, Portugal, and So Tome e Principe).
