The UMass Amherst neuroscientist has been awarded a three-year, $824,025 collaborative research grant to study the zebrafish brain to better understand how neurons regulate activities such as walking and swimming.

The Center will be under new leadership for the upcoming academic year as Dr. Maureen Perry-Jenkins completes a sabbatical at Stanford University.
