CRF's student award program recognizes outstanding student research in the many fields that encompass family studies. We offer three categories of awards and some full scholarships to our summer methodology workshops.
Graduate Student Dissertation Awards - $1,000 - $5,000 Dissertation Awards will be made to PhD students enrolled at UMass Amherst who have demonstrated superior potential in any area of family research
Undergraduate Student Research Awards - $500-$2,000 Research Awards will be made to undergraduate students enrolled at UMass Amherst who have demonstrated superior potential in any area of family research and seeks further mentoring in this area.
Conference Registration/Travel Awards - Awards of up to $350 are given to selected graduate students to offset the upcoming or past costs of presenting at conferences taking place anytime between September of '22-23 or Fall '23.
Summer Methodology Scholarships - Full scholarships will be awarded to select graduate students who wish to attend the CRF Summer Methodology Workshop: Stress Biomarkers: Why, What, Where, and How or Introduction to Dyadic Data Analysis
