About Dr. Hong
Dr. Alicia Hong is a Professor in the Department of Health Administration and Policy at George Mason University. Her research focuses on digital health interventions, consumer health informatics, and the use of emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence, to improve health communication and outcomes among underserved populations. Her research has been funded by NIH, NSF, HRSA, CDC and private foundations with over 120 peer-reviewed publications. She has worked on health-related internet use, patient-provider communication, and mobile social media-based interventions, with a strong emphasis on healthy aging and chronic are.
