Development and Testing of Supportive Care Interventions for Patients with Medical Illness

As a clinical psychologist at the Massachusetts General Hospital Cancer Center, Dr. Greer works in the newly-established Center for Psychiatric Oncology & Behavioral Sciences. This Center is dedicated to the development and testing of novel therapeutic approaches to improve quality of life and reduce psychological distress for patients diagnosed with diverse malignancies. In his role as a clinical-scientist he conducts behavioral treatment, outcomes research, and training related to supportive care interventions for patients with cancer and their families.
