#BlackInSTEM at UMass contributes to this conversation by providing a forum for Black and non-Black students or alumni of color to connect with and hear from Black faculty, postdoctoral researchers, and graduate students as they navigate careers in higher education. CRF affiliated faculty and students will serve as panelists and discussion leaders including former CRF Family Research Scholars Gerald B. Downes, FRS 2014-15, Shannon Roberts, FRS 2018-19, and current student awardees Mélise Edwards & Gorana Gonzalez.
