This fall, new faculty and librarians were invited to a mentoring event over lunch early in the semester and a family & friends hockey night in October! We also hosted a "first things first" Monday writing circle that started in September.

We gathered new faculty for free apple picking at a nearby orchard to bring together new faculty and librarians with others in their early career. For those in years 2+, we held workshops on submitting your Annual Faculty Reviews (AFR) submissions.

In the spring semester, OFD is planning to host an interdisciplinary and impactful research and engagement event for new faculty and librarians and early career lunches with our Associate Provost for Faculty Development, Angela de Oliveira.

Keep alert for monthly emails from Leyla Keough-Hameed to learn about upcoming offerings and links to important resources.
