The First Book:  Where to Begin?

In this interactive workshop, panelists will provide practical advice and discuss issues to consider when you publish your first book. Topics will include: how to revise a dissertation into a book manuscript, strategies for approaching a publisher, how to submit a book prospectus, and an overview of what the publishing process entails. Faculty attendees will be encouraged to ask questions throughout the workshop and gain insight into their own path to the first book.
