Hosted by the Office of Faculty Development as part of the "Supporting Non-Tenure Track Faculty" Series

Have you ever wondered how to include something on your Annual Faculty Report (AFR)? Want to get a second set of eyes on a draft? Are you new to writing an AFR and are wondering about its purpose and structure? Get help from colleagues!

Writing an Annual Faculty Report can feel like a chore, but it serves an important purpose. Your annual faculty report summarizes—and showcases!—your accomplishments over the last year and is used during the annual review, contract renewal, and promotion. All faculty with an appointment at 50% FTE or greater must submit an AFR by the October 14 deadline.

These sessions offer a mix of space to write your AFR and get feedback from fellow non-tenure track faculty.

Additional AFR sessions will be offered on Fri, Oct 7, 10am and Wed, Oct 12, 12:15pm

Oct. 6 session Facilitators:
Christiane Healey, Senior Lecturer, Biology, CNS, OFD Faculty Fellow
Lisa Sommers, Clinical Associate Professor and Clinic Director, Department of Communication Disorders, SPHHS
Leah Wing, Senior Lecturer II, Department of Political Science, and Director, National Center for Technology and Dispute Resolution, SBS
