Over the past 5-10 years open educational resources, or OER, have gained traction in the educational marketplace as "disruptors" of traditional teaching materials; so much so that all of the major commercial textbook publishers now offer an OER product of some kind. This workshop will answer your questions about this rapidly growing field that is revolutionizing teaching. We will discuss the definition of OER, if it is right for your classes, how to find OER, what commercial publishers offer, support for OER development on campus, student engagement, Massachusetts state support, and more!
