This leadership academy supports the transition from faculty member to departmental leader in one of the most important and challenging jobs on campus (yours!). You will learn from former heads/chairs about the art and responsibilities of departmental leadership, managing conflict, staff supervision, and more. Past attendees have found the peer mentorship and friendships they formed through the academy to be key supports during their first years as departmental leaders.
