This event is hosted by the Libraries.

The Libraries are hosting a group viewing of a virtual panel discussion, "Navigating Challenges in Peer Review: Perspectives from University Presses and Associations" on September 24th at 2:00 p.m. in Room 1920 of the W.E.B. Du Bois Library.

Peer review is a cornerstone of academic integrity, but it comes with its own set of challenges, including reviewer selection, maintaining impartiality, and managing reviewer workloads. A distinguished panel will share their experiences and strategies for overcoming these obstacles, ensuring high-quality and unbiased reviews. For information about types and traits of peer review and best practices and guidance for participating in peer review, visit the Libraries’ Peer Review Guide.
