LEAD+: Academic Employee and Labor Relations - Overview and Update
Hosted by the Academic Personnel Office and the Office of Faculty Development in collaboration with the Provost's Office
LEAD+ (Leadership Enhancement for Academic Departments) is a professional development and support program for heads/chairs and associate deans covering topics of common concern to department/unit leaders. It is offered jointly by the Academic Personnel Office and the Office of Faculty Development.

They will also provide guidance for handling performance and conduct issues and review the procedures required by university policies and labor agreements for when these issues arise. Time permitting, Michael and Dennis will also give an update on the status of negotiations with the MSP for a successor agreement that will cover the period beginning July 1, 2024 through June 30, 2027. Background information about academic employment matters can be found at the new Academic Human Resources website and information about bargaining can be found at the Academic Collective Bargaining intranet site.
