Get to Know a Mentor for New Tenure-Track Faculty

Starting to identify and connect with mentors is key to navigating your first year – here’s an opportunity to get to know a mentor over a meal! For this event for new tenure-track faculty, we request that you identify a member of your mentoring team to attend the event with you.

If you don’t know who to invite, reach out to your chair to ask – we've already told them about the event, so they can answer your questions! And if your mentors are not available at that time, your Chair can attend or can help you identify someone to join you. At this gathering, we’ll have activities designed to help you get to know each other and to explore mentoring best practices. 

For this event, the Associate Dean and/or staff responsible for faculty development of your college and representatives from ADVANCE will also be invited.
