Non-Tenure Track Faculty,
Sustainable Careers
Zoom

The Annual Faculty Report and Evaluation (AFR) is an opportunity for faculty to showcase their teaching, student advising, research and creative activities, and service as appropriate to their appointment. It is a way to reflect on your work’s meaning and impact and to share that story for discussion among departmental and other colleagues during annual review, contract renewal, and promotion.

These workshops provide a supportive space for non-tenure-track faculty, including clinical faculty, extension faculty, lecturers, and research faculty, to share different approaches, ask questions, and get started. Whether you are completing the AFR for the first time or interested in fresh ways to approach a document you have completed many times before, non-tenure-track faculty of all career stages are welcome and encouraged to attend.

All faculty members with an appointment at 50% FTE or greater must complete the 2023–24 AFR in the Academic Personnel Workflow System (APWS) by the October 15, 2024 deadline.

Facilitators:

  • Allison Butler, Senior Lecturer II and Associate Chair, Department of Communication

  • Jason Hooper, Senior Fellow and Associate Director, Office of Faculty Development, Senior Lecturer II, Department of Music and Dance
