Finding Providers
If you need to find a provider, here are resources to help find the right caregiver for you, along with tips on finding outsourced care.
Benefits & Leave to Provide Care
-
Massachusetts Society of Professors (MSP) Work-Life Policies: The MSP has negotiated with the administration to create policies around parental leave, sick leave, family medical leave, partner hiring, and other benefits that make it possible for faculty and librarians to have full lives as well as careers. With changing gender roles and family forms, MSP has established that faculty recruitment and retention requires university support for work-life balance.
-
Childcare & Eldercare Assistance Program: (funding available for MSP bargaining unit members only) Questions regarding childcare and eldercare reimbursements should be directed to @email.
-
Family & Medical Leave Act: The FMLA entitles eligible employees of covered employers to take unpaid, job-protected leave for specified family and medical reasons with continuation of group health insurance coverage under the same terms and conditions as if the employee had not taken leave.
