Access to Information
The FCS Catalog
The Facilities & Campus Services Catalog is a dynamic PDF compendium of all our services. It's a handy reference guide with live hyperlinks to connect users to the right person or information fast. We publish new versions of the Catalog twice-yearly, in the spring and in the fall, with minor updates in between. We're always looking for photographs to use either in context or as cover art (with attribution); if you have any photographs you'd like us to consider for publication, please send them.
In addition to our catalog, your best sources of information will be the FCS and divisional web sites. We’re engaged in a long-term project to completely redesign all of our web sites to provide more accurate, coordinated and timely information to the campus community and to continue to support the University standards and mission.
If you wish to be included on our Construction Advisory distribution list, please email us from or with the address to which you would like the Advisories sent and include the word "subscribe" in the subject line. We do not rent or share this list with any other company or organization, and you can unsubscribe at any time by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org with the word "unsubscribe" in the subject line.
As often as possible, we'll be sitting down with the talented student broadcasters and journalists at WMUA News (91.1 FM) to discuss major issues affecting Facilities & Campus Services and the Amherst campus --from capital construction to sustainability to innovations in transportation to long-range campus planning. You can listen to our latest "Anatomy of a University" segment here.
Our PSAs can normally be heard Monday mornings during the academic year on WMUA - 91.1FM to keep the campus informed about major projects, disruptions and developments. Listen to the the latest from your "Face Made for Radio" (MP3).
We’re available to provide your department, group or organization a custom presentation on current and future construction projects and the Campus Master Plan. These events usually include a short PowerPoint presentation along with the opportunity to ask questions and discuss any relevant concerns you may have.
Branding and Word Mark Use
The FCS Brand Book
Consistent, positive branding is an essential element in communicating who we are and what we do to the campus community; it also provides our large, diverse organization a common point of pride and identification. The FCS Brand Book [PDF] is intended to provide design assistance and standards to all those who wish to represent F&CS on line or in print.
