Trans Day of Remembrance (TDoR) Service
November 17, 2016
6:00 pm-7:00 pm
The Transgender Day of Remembrance (TDoR) is a day of community, and a day of mourning. It is on this day that we remember the people who have come before us, the people we have lost, and the people that violence and hate have taken from us decades too soon. We come together in community to speak their names and remember them in our hearts, minds, and souls. We come together to speak of them, and of what they left behind. We come together to remember that their fight is not over, and that the love we have for them and our community grows each day that we fight on without them.
Please join us at Hillel House to be a part of our community and remember with us the people we have lost and the legacy that our community has. Join us to remember the violence with which people were taken from our community, and the love we still have.
Everyone will be welcomed with open arms and open hearts.
