Join us for the third installment of this year's History Institute.  Professor Chris Appy will examine "American exceptionalism" as a core tenet of national identity, and how the Vietnam War posed fundamental challenges to the faith in America's actions as a force for good in the world.  He will also explore the post-Vietnam efforts to revive "American exceptionalism."

A registration-only workshop for teachers will follow from 5:30-7:00 p.m.
