Talk: 'State of STEM Student Success and Diversity at UMass'

Charlana Y. Simmons of Student Success and Diversity in the College of Natural Sciences will discuss the state of diversity in STEM at UMass, providing details about the enrollment, persistence and success of students from diverse backgrounds in STEM.
The talk will also include information regarding best practices for supporting students in STEM and an outline of next steps of STEM diversity endeavors at UMass.
Most STEM seminars are held at 4 p.m. on the first and third Tuesdays of each month during the academic year in Hasbrouck 138.
Everyone is welcome, no reservations are needed and there is no charge. Refreshments will be available just before the talk begins. Parking is available in the Campus Center Garage.
