Rossi Lecture: 'Immigration and Labor Market Precarity in the 21st Century U.S.'

Ruth Milkman, professor of sociology at the CUNY Graduate Century and the Joseph F. Murphy Institute for Worker Education and Labor Studies, will analyze challenges currently facing low-wage immigrant workers, recent efforts to organize them, and the politics that blames them for the plight of U.S.-born workers. She will highlight issues facing undocumented and women migrant workers.
