The Department of Music and Dance presents the Orff Schulwerk Festival, a two-day event for elementary music teachers, students, and collegiate music education majors. The featured guest clinicians are Gretchen Wahlberg and Sandy Lantz, national board certified teachers who have taught elementary music in Florida for over 38 years.

Day 1: Intended for elementary music teachers (attending solo or with their 5th grade students) as well as current music student teachers. There will be singing, moving, playing instruments, composition, & improvisation in the Orff Schulwerk approach

Day 2: Intended for collegiate music education majors and in-service music teachers who would like to explore new teaching and learning experiences. There will be a series of interactive workshops; each focusing on a different element of the Orff Schulwerk approach


The Campus Center is located in the middle of campus at 1 Campus Center Way. Parking is available in the Campus Center Garage.
