The UMass Department of Theater and W.E.B. Du Bois Department of Afro-American Studies  present a celebration honoring the life and legacy of Ntozake Shange. We welcome you to join us as we commemorate Ntozake’s work through music, poetry, performance, and lecture. We as interdepartmental collaborators, aspire to bring together a collective of voices who seek to commemorate Ntozake Shange through any and all artistic/academic mediums.
