Dr. Rebecca Seifried

Curious about GIS? Intrigued by geospatial tech? Join us for a conversation and live demo of GIS, led by Dr. Becky Seifried, GIS Librarian at UMass. Becky will talk about what GIS is and what it can do, then walk through some examples of cutting-edge projects that are harnessing the power of geospatial technology to learn about the past, present, and future of our world. The talk is geared towards folks who haven’t used GIS before and are interested in learning about potential applications and where to find resources at UMass. All are welcome!
