The third annual Samuel Bowles Lecture to be presented by professor Emerita Nancy Folbre. 

In this lecture titled "Specialization, Power, and Inequality: The Case of the Care Penalty," Folbre will discuss several distinctive features of care provision that weaken the links between value created and rewards paid, and how, as a result, care providers (predominantly women) find themselves in a weak economic position.
