Please join the Economics Department for the 4th Annual Samuel Bowles Lecture to be presented by Amit Bhaduri. 

Amit Bhaduri is Professor Emeritus, Jawarhalal Nehru University, New Delhi and Visiting Professor in the Council for Social Development, New Delhi.  He was educated at the Presidency College in Calcutta, Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Cambridge University, where he received his Ph.D. in 1967.  

Bhaduri was awarded the Leontief Prize in Global Development and Environment, Tufts University in 2016.
