Please join us for the Interfaith Community Service & Dialogue sponsored by the Office of Religious and Spiritual Life in partnership with Pioneer Valley Habitat For Humanity. This project promotes interfaith understanding and cooperation on campus and provides opportunities for meaningful interfaith dialogue and community service while helping low-income families.

We will meet at UMass Wilder Hall, 10:30 a.m. for a light breakfast and welcome activity. Then we will drive to a volunteer site for fou hours of volunteer work (transportation is provided). Afterward, we will return to campus for a pizza dinner and dialogue conversation ending at 6 p.m.

Please complete this online form by March 20, 2019, using your UMass Amherst login. Please note that space is LIMITED, and pre-registration is REQUIRED. To ensure a meaningful interfaith dialogue, we need to gather some information about your religious/spiritual/worldview background. The information you provide will only be used to help us assemble a diverse group of students for this interfaith activity.

Selected Students will be notified by March 22, 2019 and will need to CONFIRM their involvement via email by March 26, 2019. If a confirmation email is not received by March 26, we will automatically give your spot to the next student on the waiting list. Since space is limited, please remember that no-shows and last-minute cancelations mean that another interested student will miss out on this experience.

No experience or special skills are required, and you don’t need to be “religious.” All that’s required is a big heart, an open mind, and a commitment to show up (on time!) and stay till the end.
