Holiday: Juneteenth


                         

UMass Amherst obsrves Juneteenth, a holiday celebrating the emancipation of those who had been enslaved in the United States. The day is an official holiday in Massachusetts.

Many non-essential campus offices will be closed in observance of the holiday.
