The Housing Revolution Starts at Home
A guest lecture with Dr. Anaid Yerena, Assistant Professor, University of Washington Tacoma
Dr. Anaid Yerena is an associate professor in the School of Urban Studies at the University of Washington Tacoma. She holds a Ph.D. in Planning, Policy and Design from the University of California Irvine. Her scholarship focuses on housing, community development, social inequality, and urban governance in the U.S. and Mexico. Specifically, Yerena investigates the factors influencing affordable housing policies and in community organizations and public decision-making. Yerena also investigates equity in public spaces. Yerena has published work in Urban Affairs Review, Housing Policy Debate, the Journal of the American Planning Association, the Journal of Planning Education and Research.
