A celebration of the 10th Anniversary of the Conor & Ayano Duo

Formed at Yale University in 2003, the Conor and Ayano Duo is a vibrant flute and percussion ensemble known for its exciting performances of contemporary literature and commissioned works.
Comprised of Canadian flutist Conor Nelson and Japanese percussionist Ayano Kataoka, the duo has performed in Japan, the United States and Canada. Recent venues have included the Tokyo Opera City Recital Hall, Tokyo Bunka Kaikan, Izumi Hall, CAMI and Merkin Concert Halls in New York City, the Peabody Conservatory, Stony Brook University, the University of Ottawa, Yale University and the Norfolk Chamber Music Festival. The duo also participated in the semi-final rounds of the Concert Artist Guild Competition and the Osaka International Chamber Music Competition.
