Fafnir Adamites’ exhibit, "Postsentiment," will include new sculptural works in paper and plaster. Adamites’ large scale paper forms act as monuments and reminders of trauma, intuition and the legacy of emotional turmoil inherited from past generations.

Adamites holds an MFA from the fiber and material studies department at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and a BA in photography and women’s studies from UMass Amherst. She is a member of Boston Sculptors Gallery and has exhibited her work nationally. Adamites is a recent grantee of the Assets for Artists Matched Savings Program and the Women’s Studio Workshops Residency Program. She teaches at Snow Farm: The New England Craft Program, Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts and The Academy at Charlemont. She lives in Turners Falls.
