Born in Chicago and currently living in Western Massachusetts, David Andrews applies his keen eye to an impressive series of drawings. In this collection of works, he travels inside himself to a place wrought with emotion.  Confronting rage, love, helplessness, fear and confusion, his amorphous shapes sing songs of hope, forgiveness, liberation, and relief.  By simply facing feelings and then letting go, David has paved a peculiar path of acceptance through this unusual series that spans from 2014 to 2018. And, through the basic tools of water color paper and pencils he effectively transforms lines and shapes into objects suggestive of 3D sculptural forms, taking viewers alongside on his subliminal journey.
