The Annual Junior-Senior Exhibition and Awards Ceremony in the Department on display May 7-12.
Closing reception and award ceremony: Saturday, May 12, 10:30 a.m. beginning in the gallery and continuing in 231 Herter Hall, upstairs from the gallery.
The Junior-Senior Exhibition is a juried show featuring selected works by advanced students in the Department of Art. The jury is comprised of department faculty as well as guest jurors who are invited to campus. The work reflects the broad range of disciplines pursued in the department and includes animation, ceramics, intermedia, painting, drawing, printmaking and sculpture. This show provides the public with a great opportunity to see an array of contemporary art practices and experience the lively and diverse creative research of the art program.
The exhibition and reception are free and open to the public as well as to all Five College students, faculty and staff.
Herter Art Gallery is located at the north end of Herter Hall west of the Fine Arts Center. Public parking is available at all times behind the Robsham Visitors Center and at meters along Haigis Mall. Nights and weekends parking is also available in Lot #71, west of the Whitmore Administration Building.
