Professor Jamal Greene, Dwight Professor of Law at Columbia Law School, will speak on "Rights as Trumps: A Reappraisal" when he presents the annual Dean Alfange, Jr. Distinguished Lecture on American Constitutionalism.

Greene is a leading expert in the fields of constitutional law, theories of constitutional interpretation, federal courts, and citizenship. He served as law clerk to Supreme Court Justice John Paul Stevens in 2006 and 2007, and he is responsible for a number of publications across academic and media outlets.
