"Science and the Renaissance (Rocking the Boat)," taught by professor emeritus of philosophy James van Luik, will explore science, providing some background before moving directly into the Renaissance, concentrating on the factors that seriously interfered with scientific development throughout its history in Europe and elsewhere. 

The class runs 6 weeks. and is free and open to all. Pre-register by Sept. 28 at 413-577-3600. Class takes place in the upstairs classroom.
