Join us for a special event featuring Ambassador Masood Khan, Pakistan's Ambassador to the United States, as he visits the UMass Amherst campus. Ambassador Khan will give brief remarks and take questions from the audience during the event. 

Ambassador Khan previously served as the President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir from August 2016-August 2021. Immediately before becoming the President he was the Director General of the Institute of Strategic Studies Islamabad, one of the top think tanks in Pakistan. He has had a distinguished diplomatic career, including serving as the Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the United Nations, as well as serving as the Ambassador to China. His areas of specialization include nuclear diplomacy, South Asia, Pak-China relations, Pak-US relations, e-governance, multilateral diplomacy and international humanitarian law, among others.
