This past summer, the Center for Agriculture, Food and the Environment (CAFE) launched an Undergraduate Summer Scholars Program which provided paid summer employment for UMass Amherst undergraduate students to work in campus labs and offices of university faculty and in communities where professional extension educators are engaged with citizens.

Projects were focused on a wide range of priorities related to mission of The Center including: food production, invasive pests, pollinator health and food insecurity. The program received significant external support from The Massachusetts Grange and the Massachusetts Society for the Promotion of Agriculture.

Members of the campus community are invited to attend this event to learn more about what students have accomplished and to recognize and celebrate the successful conclusion of the program.

The Campus Center is located in the middle of campus at 1 Campus Center Way. Parking is available in the Campus Center Garage.
