Yaser Abunnasr PhD, Fulbright Fellow, Associate Professor of Landscape Architecture, American University of Beirut, Lebanon                                                    

Dr. Yaser Abunnasr is an Associate Professor of Landscape Architecture and planning in the Department of Landscape Design and Ecosystem Management at the American University of Beirut, Lebanon. He Department Chair and the BLA program director. He is trained as an architect, landscape architect and a planner and holds degrees in all fields. He received his MLA and PhD in Regional Planning from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. His research is focused on green infrastructure systems and their applications in arid and semi-arid cities and landscapes. He is the co-author of the book “Planning for Climate Change: A Reader in Green infrastructure and Sustainable Design for Resilient Cities”. Dr. Abunnasr lectures, publishes, and consults internationally.
