The Committee on Workplace Climate and Bullying will sponsor a
half-day symposium on workplace bullying. The symposium, which is the beginning of a comprehensive educational campaign aimed at increasing understanding of the problem of workplace bullying, minimizing its occurrence, and clarifying the responsibility of supervisors for ensuring a productive workplace in which all can contribute to their maximum potential, will feature national experts on the topic, as well as Representative Story, District Attorney Sullivan, and campus union leaders.

While the Workshops are occurring there will be another room which will be staffed by committee members, administrators (Ombuds) and mental health care professionals
In this room campus employees can pick up literature related to bullying (recognizing, reporting, responding), fill out surveys related to the symposium content, provide suggestions for the next phase of the campaign.
