Women of Color Leadership Network invites you to participate in Spoken Word as part of the International Women's Day Celebrations. Join us as we honor women and non-binary people who have contributed to activism across borders. Perform original spoken word pieces and/or poetry, as well as those of favorite artists/authors, in relation to power, liberation, oppression, cultural and social identities, resistance, solidarity, and other social justice related topics.

In addition to UMass and Five-College community, Spoken Word will feature members from Voices from Inside who run writing groups for incarcerated women.

All are welcome to be part of this creative, diverse, vibrant, and supportive environment.
