Join us for this Industry Speaker live webinar, where we go behind the scenes of Netflix and talks about what it’s like to work for the innovative streaming giant. We will also touch on the impact of the pandemic on the entertainment industry. As an alum of our department, our guest speaker aims to help students plan out their studies and work toward fruitful careers in digital entertainment. About the guest speaker: Amir Moini is the employer branding lead at Netflix and author of 22 Life Lessons. Growing up in Boston and now residing in Los Angeles, Amir is also passionate about dance, film, and social media. Amir graduated from UMass Amherst in 2011 and was part of the first group of peer advisors in the Comm Department. This event is moderated by Dr Jonathan Corpus Ong, associate professor of global digital media and instructor of Communication 121 Intro to Media and Culture.
