Summer 2020 presents unprecedented uncertainty for faculty in navigating research disruptions, remote work, care responsibilities, and personal needs. The Office of Faculty Development and the Associate Provost for Equity and Inclusion are working with partners across the campus to coordinate a collaborative series of optional summer programming to support faculty resilience in research and writing.

The UMass Amherst Institute for Social Science Research (ISSR) will be presenting a series of online summer methodology workshops throughout June and July.

June 8—July 15, 2020

There will be no formal presentation this year, but the public is invited to visit the UMass Sunwheel for sunrise and sunset to celebrate the solstice. Visitors should wear masks and be prepared for the possibility of wet footing and mosquitoes.
