Shaha, the Swahili word for “storyteller,” is exactly what this diverse peer education troupe at UMass is all about. Shaha is made up of students from many backgrounds, who work together to tell stories through performance. They perform scenes based on their own experiences in order to start conversations on social justice issues such as racism, classism and more.

A BFA thesis exhibition, "Origins: It Feels Different With You Here," created by senior Eva Lin Fahey, who is currently pursuing a degree in painting with a art history minor, consists of abstracted spaces that create both intimacy with the viewer and self-reflective environments, focusing on the concept of consanguinity and personal origin.
