Sebastiaan Faber is Professor of Hispanic Studies and Chair of Latin American Studies at Oberlin College, Director of the Oberlin Center for Languages and Cultures, and Chair of the Abraham Lincoln Brigade Archives.  He is a leading expert on representations of the Spanish Civil War and intellectual debates concerning historical memory in Spain.
