Black Heritage Month, also known as Black History Month, is an annual observance in the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom to celebrate culture and scholarly contributions by people of the African Diaspora.
You are invited to participate in the wide variety of events offered at UMass during the month of February and ,as a community that values diversity, inclusion and learning, you are encouraged to participate and follow our Black Heritage Month Hashtag - #BHMUMA2017.
